Shadow theatre
Use a lamp and a wall. Let one person make a shadow shape while the other guesses what it could be.
Pretend corner shop
Set out a few safe household objects. Take turns choosing, naming and wrapping a pretend purchase.
Make a room map
Draw the door, a chair and a window. Mark a spot on the map and see if someone else can find it.
Tap it back
Tap a short pattern on your knees and pause for a reply. Swap leaders after a few rounds.

Start with ‘There was a tiny door in the wall.’ Each person adds one line.
