These Educator Terms & Conditions (“Educator Terms”) govern your participation as an Educator on the EdCaptain platform operated by Deeper Learning Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (“EdCaptain”, “we”, “us”). These Educator Terms form a binding agreement between you and EdCaptain and incorporate EdCaptain’s Terms of Use by reference.
1. Educator Obligations
As an Educator, you represent, warrant, and agree that:
- You own or have necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to authorize EdCaptain to use your content (“Submitted Content”) in accordance with these terms.
- Your Submitted Content does not infringe upon or misappropriate third-party intellectual property rights.
- You possess required qualifications, credentials, and expertise relevant to the educational content you submit.
- You will not submit inappropriate, offensive, discriminatory, false, misleading, defamatory, or illegal content.
- You will not engage in unauthorized advertising, spamming, or other forms of solicitation.
- Your actions will not require EdCaptain to obtain licenses or pay royalties to third parties.
- You will not interfere with or disrupt the EdCaptain platform, its services, or other Educators’ activities.
- You will not impersonate another person or access another’s account without authorization.
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date account information.
- You will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and EdCaptain’s community guidelines.
- You are at least 18 years old.
2. License Grant to EdCaptain
By submitting content, you grant EdCaptain a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, distribute, publicly perform, display, promote, market, and sublicense your content through our services. You agree that EdCaptain may use your name, image, likeness, and voice in connection with promoting, marketing, or operating the services, and waive any related privacy or publicity rights permitted by applicable law.
EdCaptain may monitor, review, and record Submitted Content for quality assurance, promotion, or operational purposes.
3. Remuneration and Incentives
Your Submitted Content is provided voluntarily and without financial compensation from EdCaptain. EdCaptain may, at its sole discretion, offer incentives (financial or non-financial) for exceptional content. Any revenue generated by EdCaptain through advertisements or other means belongs solely to EdCaptain, and you will not have any claim to such revenue.
4. Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of your Submitted Content.
- EdCaptain respects intellectual property rights and requires Educators to do the same. Any infringement claims should be promptly reported to [email protected].
5. Modification of Terms
EdCaptain reserves the right to modify these Educator Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through prominent notifications, such as email or website notices. Your continued use of the EdCaptain platform after such changes signifies acceptance of the updated terms. The most current version of these Educator Terms supersedes all previous versions.
6. Governing Law
These Educator Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of India. Disputes arising under these terms shall be exclusively resolved in the courts located in Mumbai, India.
